Job Description
- Manage, maintain, administrate and provide support for vessels IT and communications soft- and hardware infrastructure
- Project management and administration for outfitting / retrofitting of vessels navigation-, IT- and / or communications hardware
- Provide support to the Technical department in respect to bridge and communications equipment on board
- Observe respective (new) international rules and regulations and where required plan fleet's compliance and observance
- International travel
Your Profile
- Nautical background (GMDSS / ECDIS certification preferred)
- Extensive computer experience / knowledge (both hard- and software)

- Handling cargo claims for owned and chartered vessels and liaising accordingly with p & i clubs, claimants / lawyers and internal operations / chartering departments
- Loss prevention activities - circulars to ships and operations
- Arranging load and discharge surveys
- Assisting with technical aspects of commercial claims
- Assisting in general insurance quotations

Your Profile
- Completed vocational training in transport business or insurance industry or a shipping related training backround

Job Description
- Supervising vessels in all technical matters, i.e. maintaining, preparing repairs and dry-docking specifications and monitoring all repairs afloat and in dry-dock
- Solving technical challenges
- Monitoring vessel performance trends including speed, fuel and lube oil consumptions
- Ensuring vessel compliance to classification, flag state and port state rules and regulations
- Vessel inspections, in respect to technical, operation, ISM, ISPS, safety and environmental guidelines
- Controlling the purchase of spares and consumables
- Preparing OPEX budgets and reporting expenses against such budgets
- Ensuring the workflow in compliance with internal procedures
- Data maintenance
- Extensive international travel, in some cases on short notice
Your Profile
- Holder of nautical or marine engineering license
- Professional experience as junior mate or engineer

Job Description
- Co-ordinating loading and discharging operations, ensuring a quick turn around of our vessels
- Preparing and reviewing stowage plans
- Producing detailed stow plans, including hatch lists / tier plans, productivity reports, etc.
- Negotiating contracts with service providers
- Working closely with terminals and stevedores, i.e. holding the pre-planning meetings, attending port meetings, etc.

- Person in charge for all commercial / operational / post fixture matters for the respective vessel
