How can you benefit from the network of a volume carrier?
Just add your trade.
A large fleet gives us critical mass: we call more ports than other drybulk operators, combine part cargoes, consolidate routes and reduce ballast legs. This makes us more competitive. We can take care of your entire transportation programme.
It also makes us more flexible if you should be forced to ask for changes to a COA later. We have been providing seaborne transportation solutions in the drybulk sector since 1921.
Our cargo clients, such as raw materials producers, agricultural traders, importers, exporters, steel mills, power companies and other industrial end-users, owners and charterers have experienced our on-time performance, reliable service and flexibility.
As a fully integrated shipping company and a volume carrier, we transport a wide range of drybulk commodities including ore, coal, petcoke and other minerals, grains/agriproducts, bauxite/alumina, cements/aggregates, forest products, scrap, concentrates and fertilisers.
OLDENDORFF CARRIERS is also a leading seaborne carrier of steel cargoes, where we focus on various kinds of steel products, aluminium as bars or ingots, other industrial metals, pipes, construction material as well as windmill towers and blades.
Our parcel trades
Apart from carrying full cargoes of bulk, we also excel in combining various unitised and bulk cargoes in our parcel trades. We may carry 5 or 10 or more parcels of agricultural products, minerals, concentrates, etc. on one voyage, which enables us to give you a lower freight rate, especially on long-haul trades. Our most active bulk parcel and steel parcel trades are from:
